FAQ’s
1. When does service start?
- Service begins 9:30am. We invite you to come in between 9:00 and 9:15 to enjoy coffee and cookies in the foyer.
2. When does service end?
- We aim to finish by 11:00am.
3. Do you have children’s services?
- Yes! All of our children are taught the word of God, no matter their age! You may check your child(ren) into their class anytime after 9:15am. Sign them in, let us know their age and if they have allergies or not, and then come back to sign them out at the end! Our classes are divided by age: Heir Force- 1st grade through 5th grade; King’s Kids- preschool and kindergarten; King’s Kids Too- birth through age 2.
4. What about teenagers?
- We have something for them also! 6th graders through 12th graders have their own class. They will sit with you during praise and worship, offering, and announcements and then be dismissed. Follow the flow of teenagers to their classroom where they will have a chance to chat, play games, and hear a lesson tailored to them.
5. What do I wear?
- You are welcome to wear anything that you feel comfortable in, honestly! We have noticed over the years that many people dress up more on Easter. You will see a variety of clothing. Women might be wearing dresses, skirts, dress pants, or jeans with a nice top. Men might wear shirts with ties, polos, slacks, or jeans with a tshirt. (There will be a Photo Booth set up as an opportunity for Easter family pictures if you want.) There is no pressure to dress a certain way, we encourage you to be comfortable.
6. Where do I park?
- There is street parking available on both Canyon St and 2nd street since the church is on the corner. You may park on either side of the street for several blocks and it would still just be a short walk to the front door.
8. What can I expect?
- Watch our virtual tour to know what happens on a typical Sunday morning! (Link here)
9. What if I have other questions?
- Please feel free to email care@woffc.org. We are happy to answer any other questions!
