Michael & Kendra Bauer Senior Pastors

Michael and Kendra Bauer serve as Senior Pastors of WOFFC, the church Danny and Nancy Bauer pioneered in 1996. After Michael and Kendra graduated from Rhema Bible Training College in 2009, God led them to help with the ministry here, and they served as associate pastors for seventeen years. In 2023, God began developing a pastor’s heart in them, and in 2026, they moved into the role of senior pastors when Pastor Danny and Nancy moved to the role of Founding Pastors. They lead the church together.

They believe the church is meant to be the hands and feet of Jesus, known by its love (John 13:35). Their desire is for WOFFC to reach its community so well that if the church ever disappeared, it would leave a giant crater behind. They are passionate about building a strong foundation of God’s Word in every believer, so people can face life’s challenges in victory and shine as lights of God’s love to others.

What they love most about WOFFC is that it is both a family church and a church family. There is a place for every generation, from the very youngest to the most seasoned, and a church family that loves one another fiercely and walks through life together.

Married since 2005, Michael and Kendra have three children and are intentional about investing in their family. Their favorite way to spend a day off is outside together, enjoying everything they love about Wyoming.

Their desire is that everything they do flows from Matthew 6:33a (TPT): “So above all, constantly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness.”

Associate Pastor Rick Swain

Pastor Rick Swain serves as WOFFC's Associate Pastor, and you'll find him all over the place on any given Sunday. He serves on the media team, plays drums in worship, leads a Life Group, and pitches in wherever he's needed.

Pastor Rick's heart is simple: he wants to obey God and serve people wherever he is.

What He Loves About WOFFC is that we are a family.

His Favorite Scripture os Proverbs 3:5–6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."

Pastor Rick loves hanging out with friends and having great conversation, and nothing makes him laugh like watching old videos of his boys being silly. His favorite foods are Chicken Parmesan and Massachusetts Chinese food (if you know, you know, and he'll tell you it's the best). Here's a fun surprise: he's actually really shy! But he simply tries to be genuine, so come say hi. He'd love to hear your story.

Connections and Outreach Pastor Guille Swain

Pastor Guille Swain, known to most as Geejay, serves as WOFFC's Connections & Outreach Pastor, and her greatest passion is simple: she wants people to know God. Not a building, not a denomination, but Him, because everything flows from knowing Him. Her heart is to be a bridge between our community, our church, and most of all, God, our Creator. Whether she's serving at an outreach, sitting with someone in a hard season, welcoming a guest for the first time, or sharing a message of hope through our media, her prayer is that people would encounter the love of Jesus and discover the life He has for them.

Guille does what she does because she was once broken, and Jesus turned her mourning into dancing and restored every broken piece of her life. Now she wants others to see Him too. Her heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, letting His love reach people through her. She is also passionate about discipling others to carry that same heart of compassion, raising up and multiplying laborers for the harvest.

Favorite Scripture
Psalm 16:5–6 (TPT)Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!

Guille grew up in the jungle of Guatemala, and if you'd told that little girl she'd one day be a pastor in Wyoming, she never would have believed you! But she knows that our God is a God of dreams. No matter where you come from, He is bigger than that, and when we trust Him, He can take us places we never imagined.

Worship Director Ashli Smiley

Ashli serves as Worship Director at WOFFC, where she leads and helps shepherd the worship ministry through planning, developing teams, and creating opportunities for people to encounter God through worship.

She believes worship is so much more than music, it is our response to who God is. She loves creating a space where people can worship freely and experience His presence, while helping the worship team grow in their gifts and remember that the platform is a place of ministry, not performance.

What Ashli loves most about WOFFC is that it feels like family, a place where people can come as they are, grow and serve together, and pursue Jesus together.

One of her favorite Scriptures is Psalm 138:8, and she is known for saying, “Everything is figure-out-able,” because she believes that with God, all things are possible. Her four kids, however, would probably tell you her favorite word is simply, “No.”

Founding Pastors Danny and Nancy Bauer

Pastors Danny and Nancy Bauer are the founder pastors of Word of Faith Family Church. Both Danny and Nancy are graduates of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It was while they were students at RHEMA that they met and later were married.

After graduation from RHEMA, they served as assistant pastors for many years at A Glorious Church Fellowship in Collinsville, Oklahoma, serving in the Ministry of Helps in many areas. In 1996, Danny and Nancy moved with their three sons to Lander, Wyoming, to pioneer Word of Faith Family Church.
